Lights wont stop flashing!?!?!
After replacing speed censor and un hooking neg batt cables, the abs light and e brake light still on, speedo still not working and now all the lights are flashing when you turn the key to on position. Whats going on??? dont want to take to dealer, the running lights 90 times before returning to normal....

Maybe you'll have better luck if you post in the 3rd Gen section. I don't have clue. I replaced my speed sensor and it did the trick, but I have a 2nd gen.

This may sound overly simple but did you check for a blown fuse? had a 97 1500 with that problem and it was a short in the trailer wire blowing the ABS fuse. Maybe different for you but a simple check.

I may have missed something here so ignore me if this has already been posted. If your ABS light is on then there will be a code stores. You will need to find out what code is stored in order to know what part needs replacing or fixing. It would be like throwing a fuel pressure sensor in to fix a check engine light, the light could be one of a hundred failed parts. Get the code first and go from there. As someone else already said also is that if the part replaced fixes the problem then you still have to drive it above 5-10mph as this is when the ABS computer does a self check and verify's everything is OK, or it sets the light off until the next self check turns up OK.
Hope this helps,
