running 245x19.5, can't imagin how bad the ride would be with 265's, they are rated at over 5k per tire.

You can get the tire heights at Rickson.

good luck

How do you like your 245 70 19.5's

Hello, how are you liking the 245 setup on your truck, I'm going to order some ricksons as well for my 07. When I have my 07 hooked up to my slide in camper and trailer loaded the stock tires like like Pillsbury Dough Boy tires.

Thanks

They work great with a camper, but have a hard ride when empty

I have Ricksons forged running Goodyear G124 Load range "G" so far so good with the tires.

When loaded with my camper and "stuff" it's about 4k in the bed. The 19.5's are great when putting on a load. My truck drives so much better in the wind and cornering.

Two things. I don't think Rickson makes forged wheels anymore. They are selling a cast wheel from Vision or their steel wheels. You can get the Vision wheels anyplace.

I don't like the steel wheels it adds too much weight to have to try and stop. Too much rotating mass. After all you're putting them on because you want to add a whole bunch of weight.

I'm buying 19.5's for my 04 but I'll get the Visions locally, and maybe try a different tire.

Good luck it's money well spent.

I have Rickson 19.5 Aluminum rims and Bridgstone R250 265x70 and am happy with them.

They did run much stiffer than stock. Adding the adjustable 9000 shocks helped a lot. I keep the front on 5 and rear on 2. It takes the edge off when you hit those sharp holes or edges.

I did nothing lift wise and the tires did not rub at all. They come extremely close to the rear of the front tire while turning but the tires cleared without any problems.

I have about 25k on these tires and am glad I chose them. I think something is up with Rickson as my brother looked at their site about a week ago and all of the aluminum rims are out of stock. I had started a thread asking if anyone knew what was going on and did not get a single response.

Good Luck..

I had purchased the Rickson forged rims from Rickson.

Tires I bought from a local truck center as it was to much $$ to ship them.

Another note is I tried static balance when I 1st put them on and had a little shake at highway spped. I added the Centramatic balancers and has been smooth since adding them.

Like n2 stated, I went with Alum rim for the weight savings.

Steel 19.5 rim was aorund 55lbs, alum was 32lbs, tires I went with are 82lbs.
