35" tires and leveling kit..how much higher than stock 265s?
Im getting new tires next week and leveling my truck and was just wondering how much higher it would be over stock?? Thanks!
The tires give you a little over 2" I dont know about the leveling kit because I do not have one. I know it looks 100% better and fills in those wheel wells quite nicely. You should be very happy when you see it.
Stock 265's are about 32" dia -
Switch to about 35" = 3" total difference / 2 = 1.5" actual increase in vehicle height/ground clearance.
I have the leveling kit and like it just fine - the net increase in vehicle height with the leveling kit results from changing the overall attitude of the pickup - I'll take a WAG and say a 2" leveling kit will raise the overall height minimally; even though it will raise the cab/forward probably 1.5" (+ -). There's probably somebody out there with better information than I can give you.
