Glad you got it figured out. And yes, you can load the new program to the ECM without erasing the old.

Thanks to you too Spooler. I just got it loaded up and now the truck is WARMING UP. I know this has been posted a million times, but why is it when the truck idles up by itself to about 1000rpm, it sounds like... mm mm mm mm mm mm. When I hit the brake, and manual idle it up to around 1000 or more, it sounds smooth and doesn't have that mmmm sound? I have been around enough of these to know what poor injectors sound like, but this just sounds like it may been a very EARLY sign of one or more going south... Or is this normal? I really don't want to start another thread. I have read other threads on SIMILAR cases, but not quite. What do ya think?

Oh, and I understand if you guys are done helping me. lol You have been more than patient. Ha ha.

 

Wish I could help but I am in Warm Georgia. My high idle has only come on one time in the last 3 years I have owned it. LOL......

 

Hey man I am glad you got her figured out! I was frustrated the other day trying to get my Smarty handled myself so I definately felt your pain.

 

Thanks so much. I just took the truck to fill up. Didn't get on it because the snow is really comming down and its pretty icy. Can't wait to see how the boost turns out. Thanks again.
