Dont plug in your smarty yet,....go to your smarty file ...go to the file that has a zipper on it. CDM 2.0 Double click it...

Highlight all the files in this folder. now Copy

create a new folder in your Smarty folder called CDM unzipped. Paste the files you just copied in that folder

And.......................... Nothing happened on the smarty and nothing happened on the computer.

if you get new hardware wizard direct it to the cmd unzipped folder in your smarty folder.

If this far it will install the driver.

You will go through this process twice

???? 50 new hardware options on the thing?

name a couple of them...Do any of them look like anything smarty related? Do you ahve a different USB port to try plugging the Smarty in to?

It says, have you already connected hardware to your computer. I said yes. Then it says, from the list below select a hardware device. Options are..
ATI Mobility, Conexant AC, Audio Codecs, Media Control Device, and so on.....
