I have everything downloaded, and stored under smarty and other names that I can remember. ITS WHEN I PLUG THE SMARTY IN, THE "NEW HARDWARE WIZARD" DOES NOT SHOW UP AND I CAN'T FIND IT TO SAVE MY LIFE.

right click on your smarty file ending in .7z

go to extract here.

Then you will now have a .smt file in your folder.

Open the icon that looks like a 1970's robot....Errrrrrr I mean looks like your smarty.

Go to file

Open

Now point it to your .smt file.

Tell me what happens.

So if in your open smarty icon window you have the file .smt in there. Make sure you have your smarty plugged into the usb port.

If so hit send. If it is working this way should say clearing memory followed by a 40 minute to transfer or somehting like that

When I go to the 1970 robot, and hit open, then hit the .smt and push send, that is when the error shows up.

This is exactly what I have under my smarty file.
CDM 2.00, 7z457, s06v411bd211b47, smarty USB, and SMT.4v411bd211b47.smt. That is what I have.

I would suggest shutting down your computer letting it boot and not plugging in the smarty right away. After reboot come back to this site.

Plug smarty in while here and let me know what happens then.

We'll get it somehow here. Its a royal pain in the A$$ is what it is.
