Sounds pretty normal. The 16k is a little high, but how high are you revving it?
If you are concerned, you can have someone with a DRB check to see if it is following what the computer is calling for.

No I didn't.What was this sticker about retro ecm you posted on another site. How long have you owned this truck. If for some reason your ecm was replaced with a different year version(like an 06)the Edge you are running is not intended for use with that ecm. 06 Edge Juice is a different part number

I would be asking the dealer about this asap! This could be the root of your problems. The Edge is not matched to the ecm in your truck.I'm assuming you ordered the Edge for an 04.5-05 correct.

yes correct. my edge is exactly for a 2004.5-2005 325HP 600 torquemodel. which mine says on valve cover. Another thing to related to my jerky idle down after revving it up is a leaky injector. could leaky injector give high egts?

I can't answer the leaky injector question but the Edge not being matched to your ecm could cause high egt's.Could be conflicting info between the 2.
