I made my own, much cheaper. Only improvements with this is a louder whistle. I have this with no silencer ring and have nice whistle. Wanting to get an intake sometime to get the most whistle possible.

They don't actually do anything, just make the turbo more audible. If you feel the need to be able to hear your turbo more, do it. If not, they aren't worth the money.

I installed a (made it myself $34) torque tube, and it didn't make my turbo any louder. However, it did let my turbo spool up quicker. I like mine! Not if I paid the ebay price. javahjoeo from Kokomo

I've got a 6.25" long by 5.25" dia. by 1/8" wall piece of hydraulic cylinder steel tube in mine. The inside is machined and chromed as it comes in stock lengths and I simply painted the outside flat black. Cost?........$0.00. I took several measurements of the stock baffle tube the length and dia. matched. You can use a piece of 5" sch.10 stainless pipe which I'm going to find someday on the job site.
