surging problems??

After reading some posts on here my truck surges when accelerating hard. almost sounds like turbo bark too i know it sounds weird but its like a pulse. its my best describtion i could give.last time it was injectors dealer replaced them said they put in all six who knows there usaully rebuilds and there probably junk to begin with anyway. I was thinking of sending injectors to mid atlantic to loyd so i know they would be could. Someone was saying fca Do you check that or replace it? I just have smarty and an airdog 100 do I need a cp3 arson kit ? I need some guages so i dont know any pressures please help.

Well what are you running your smarty on? Thin you need to kinda figure out what you will be doing with the truck as far as what mods you need. If you want a truck up in the 450-500 range, the arson kit whould be ok, but if you want 600 and above you will need a moded pump, ( Floor It Diesel )
Yes it could be the fca and it sounds kinda like it may be to me, John at floor it can check them for you, and can mod the fca also, if you just need a little fuel. I dont think its your injectors, i would think you would have a hard start and a miss.
Dodge will not change the fca so thats kinda hopless, they would want to change the whole pump,

Well if you go with a modded pump,(cp3) you wouldnt out grow it that way, id say send it in for a stg 3 and you may never need to send it back, if you dont plan on going over 750hp, lots of guys say duals, yes they are nice, but what are your plans do you ever want to compete in sled pulling drags or what? or if you just want the street performance, and never plan on doing anything else. Duals cost just a little more so if your on a buget this plays in too, stg2 pump is around a grand, and the 3 is about 1400 - 1500.00 (dont quote me on that) from Floor It. so its really up to you and what you need, if you think you will need it some day do it now, it will cost less in the long run...

Well I dont think that anyone knows for sure the limits of the stg3 I know that there is a truck that has been in the upper 800 range, well 890. I think that a stg 2 will support up to 650, i dont know much about the stg1 there isnt much to it anyway.
I think in the next few months into summer we will be seeing trucks that will be in the 900 to 1000hp range with a single pump.
Although there is a company that claims the are in the 900s with a single they are full of chet, they might be but it wasnt on fuel alone, some of us here know who this is......
