2010 electrical problems surging
So my truck has been doing some really stupid stuff electrically. The cruise control quit working normally a long time ago, now it just works when it feels like. More recently, my key fob started acting up and would lock the doors incessantly, it was a stupid game trying to get into the truck. Then the radio would surge and finally, more or less just quit. No clock, nothing. Then the left brake light was stuck on and I would only get my turn signal on the front. I was actually planning on taking it into the dealer for these stupid little problems, but then this morning it climaxed with this. When I turned the key to the on position, everything started clicking and surging and flashing. It made the initial clicks before the grid heater, and the door ajar sound and all the instruments and interior lights started flashing. I hope this video link works, my girlfriend uploaded it for me.
. Any help would be appreciated, as I'm stuck at home and was supposed to be at work 1.5 hrs ago.

Exactly what it was. I feel like a bit of a dummy. The batteries are 5 years old and have lived through a few winters, with last year being particularly cold. I replaced them today with Motomaster Eliminator Ultras anyway and it went back to it's normal wacky functioning state. Now I just need to sort out why my radio doesn't work, my left brake light is stuck on, and cruise control doesn't work all the time. Thank you to the moderator or whomever it is that relocates threads, and to Jason at Northern Upfitters who text me back with the battery check recommendation. Thanks to you too Rye.

It is a strong possibility that your TIPM is going bad based on the problems you described. I would have it looked at... At least a diagnostic ran on it. You can replace it yourself and save some money if that is the only problem.
Check the fuse for your radio as well.
