Snow Performance Stage 3

Has anyone installed a stage 3 on there truck, I'm looking for some feedback. I've got a MP-8,TST and a HTT 64-12 turbo on my 05 and the temps are getting on up there. I'm thinking about this system to keep the temps down in the 1/4 mile. I'm seeing 1500 at about 1000ft and would like to see it a little lower.

Thanks CRIS

From my experience I'd expect to see about 1300 where you were seeing 1500, assuming you run 25% meth. I have the Stage 2, Stage 3 just has a smarter controller that is designed to minimize water/meth consumption under towing conditions while still keeping temps down. If you're only using it to drag race, you really don't need the smarter controller. Save a few bucks and get the Stage 2.

Thanks- I also have a 12000lbs 5th wheel that when I tow it with my boxes off it runs 900 at 55 and 825 at 65. I'd like to see those #s drop some too!

There's no reason to be concerned with those numbers. But if you plan to run the water/meth while towing, definitely pay the extra for Stage 3.

The setup on my truck was around $700. I don't think it will hurt the engine unless you run it consatntly for a long long time.

Do you have to let it run a while before shutting it off?

Normally after running it we like to drive a few more miles before shut down just to make sure it is all burnt out. Is it necsary, I don't know.

Yeah its necessary. If you don't run your engine a little while the water will pool in your engine. Running your engine after you shut off the system will dispurse the water.

I ordered a stage 3 system from JEGs last night, will be here friday. It was $662.?? shipped to the door, $649.99 + shipping (2 day) JEGs is the only place that had them in stock and was $100.00 cheaper then I've seen. and its only $100.00 more then a stage 2

If it will drop the temps and add some HP, I know I'll love. Only time will tell or do I mean only the rollers and the track will tell
