this is my first cummins and just want some opinions on which programmer to go with. I'm kind of loyal to the edge box but with some reading seems alot like the tst. I will be pulling heavy loads and would like some opinions on this. Already have the AFE stage II. Stock exhaust etc.

im loyal to the edge box to, i would get the edge juice with additude, or maybe upgrade to the A2

Part of your decision will be whether you want it now or later. The Juice/Attitude is not available yet for the 06's.

From what I understand there are several boxes/programmers that are available including TST, Quadzilla, Superchips, Bully Dog and, I am sure, may others.

Me personally, I really liked the Juice I had on my 04.5 so I am waiting for Edge to come out with it for the 06's.

i pull a 30' horse trailer and i have a tst and triple dog. i leave the tst off and the triple dog on performance and it pulls great but if you need a little more you can just bump the tst up to 2-2

ya i wasnt aware that the edge wasnt available yet for the 06. I have one on my 04.5 duramax lly. I just didnt know if there was a real difference. I will be pulling horses as well. I like the idea of trying something new. But the edge has never given me any problem.

my 02 has an edge drag and 312 injectors and now a b1 yet to pull with the new turbo but well see what happens and now that my 312s died i have 712s in and i m not ready for that anyway the edge is a great box i love mine. i was just impressed with the 05 and what was going on with the triple dog and my trailer
