Exclamation Questions?

I am new to the fourm and want to make my 03 3500 4x4 dualie faster. i have a banks six gun and ram air intake with a straight pipe. I am happy with how it performs but of course want it to be faster. Any suggestions as to where to go next would be appreciated. also can you stack a six-gun with a smarty? and does anyone use a boost fooler from quadzilla? What are the negatives?

the boost fooler makes it boost more by making the computer think its boosting less. as far as making it faster, ide loose the banks and get a different chip, and get a downloader, smarty seems to be the most popular, i run the bully dog triple dog and like it so far. banks from what i hear is a very conservative tune. and for big power your going to need something else as far as a stacking chip. Correct me if im wrong guys!

First If it were me, Ditch the Banks and get a Smarty. The newer software does boost fooling. Get your self a built trans if its an auto., or a good clutch if its a standard. Then you could use all of the smarty power. If you still want more stack the smarty with a pressure box and hang on...The list goes on and on...

What are your goals and what you want to do with the truck has alot to do with it...

If you are wanting something a little cheaper than the smarty, the predator/powerpuck combo seems to work good on the '03's and early '04's. That predator seemed to work better on my truck than the smarty did.

carte89 fill out your sig with your truck and its features, such as auto or manual and so forth. this will better help us to give our input on what kind of mods we think you should get

SAFETY FEATURES!!!!!!!!!
Who needs them lol. Seriously I wouldnt bother stacking the 6 gun with anything unkie gal doesnt disclose what exactly kind of tuning is going on inside that box so you dont really know what will work well with it and what wont. My suggestion is a smarty and some other form of guages if you like digital style the quad commander is nice or the bd x2 monitor. Or the simple route and a set of analogs. What are you planning on doing with the truck? What do you have as far as support mods go? Transmission?

Go to user CP top left hand corner. The smarty will hurt some stock parts especially the tranny. Since you are planning on towing I would recomend a triple disc billet converter, valve bodie, billet or laminated flex plate, and input shaft. The other 2 intermediat and output shafts are an option and will become a weak link the more power you add. Also a small single 62mm or smaller are good for use with towing larger 64-71mm singles become laggey and will surge/stall while towing some say adding a cam with large singles will allow you to tow to some extent. Twins are the best for track use and the ability to still tow a good size load. But a big single and nitrous is were alot of the power and killer e/t are being put down right now in the common rail world. Smarty is a killer programer and has tons of tunes and adjustability.
