Barking the turbo/turbo questions/fuel questions

Well, after "fixing" the wastegate on the 12cm housing I'm hitting 32psi and the turbo seems to bark a lot. Will an HTT Stage III or IV help? Also, what is the difference between map width enhancement and a "ported shroud compressor housing" (taken from the HTT site)?

When I put the 12 on I also tried to maximize throttle travel. How do I go about doing this? I put washers behind the pedal bracket, which helped some, but I still have room...

Here's my video page, the most recent being "Barking Turbo".

AFAIK, the MAP slots (same thing as ported shroud, btw) are there primarily to bleed excess boost at low rpm/high load. I'm not sure if MAP slots cure the chuffing when getting out of it quickly. I've pulled off the loud pedal when my 40psi gauge is pegged and I've never gotten that noise...must be something about the ultra-lame non-I/C compressor I'll be sure to report back in a couple days, as I have an HTT wheel/housing coming in early next week Cool videos, btw

edit: as for the throttle, you probably have to fuss with the turnbucke at the pump for starters.

I'll probably try adjusting the throttle again this weekend. I'm thinking about bending the pedal, and I'll mess with the turnbuckle while I'm at it.

The best way to cure barking is to not jump off the accelerator at high boost.

My old WH1C was kind of barky, but I have yet to bark the HTT.

Ported shroud = MWE slot. Dimensions and profile might be different though.

Bending the pedal arm is the most common fix for the throttle travel. Get good travel at the bellcrank, then adjust the throttle turnbuckle.
