Quad Standard box and Engine warning light?

G'day guys,

Ive had a Quad standard box installed for about a week, and last nigth I noticed the engine warning light come on. Naturally I'm concerned and being the weekend I can't get onto Quadzilla - any ideas??

Thanks guys, I'm probably being overly anxious...

Cheers

See if you can cycle the key 3 times and get the codes. That will go a long way in diagnosing whatever the issue is.

Basically you need to turn the key to the full on position, but do not start it. Then turn it off. You need to do this 3 times pretty fast. Make sure the truck gets turned on first before you turn it off. You can do it too fast.

We will go from there.

I installed one on a guys truck and tried to start it, it wouldn't. Go back over the plugs and somehow I had one in backwards. Fixed that and it ran fine with the check engine light on for the next 8 or so starts.

engine light

Checking the codes with help you figure it out. I had this happen only once to me. I was idling while wife was in the store and decided to turn box on. Outside temps were below freezing at the time. So my thought is the grid heater was cycling at the same moment I turn box on. My codes were about voltage drops. I will not do that again.

After you do this, look at the odometer. It will say "code" then some numbers will appear. report back the numbers. this will not clear the code.

He won't be answering any questions here on ANY subject his user name alone was enough to get him banned and the 2 posts he made were nothing short of "trolling"

I hit him with some of Dr Evils patented troll juice and watched him scurry under the baseboard to die
