I the quad boost fooler worth the money if so what does it mean by modifing the waste gate on my 2004?

 

The '03 and '04 turbos have a boost elbow going to the wastegate. With a modified or adjustable boost elbow will allow the boost to go higher. The boost fooler will prevent the ECM from defueling because of the higher boost being read by the MAP sensor.

I found tons of boost fooler, but no elbows. Do you like it.

With the adjustable elbow my boost went from 22psi to 32psi.

your XZT should already do boost fooling. Did you install a boost elbow with the XZT?

 

Quad's boxes do not come with boost elbows. In fact, Quad told me that they actually saw a decrease in power on the dyno while running a boost elbow. My 03 saw the same boost with or without it when I was running the Quad box....
When I was running the Edge EZ I saw some gains...
