Confusion over Industrial injection's boost fooler vs MAP fooler

i went to alligator performance and they list 2 different foolers. One says boost fooler, the other says map fooler. I was under the impression my truck only needed a boost fooler. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Maybe they are the ones confused? Or, maybe a boost fooler/map fooler are the same?

In the ricer world, map fooler was a pretty general term for some time back in the early to mid 90's, then the term boost fooler came along.

Prolly one in the same. Ask them, they have a contact box.

Were they both 5.9 apps? I could see a MAP fooler being necessary on VGT apps, like the 6.7.

I'm sure the MAP fooler is the one you need when installing an aftermarket turbo on your 600 series engine...

A normal boost fooler is all you need on any HPCR 5.9.

Interesting, I wonder what is special about the 06's?

I would call II.

i think the map sensor fooler is the one to get. I'm just going with the quadzilla fooler since they are cheaper.
