P0148 code on Quadzilla Standard Box

Has anyone had any experience with this? Should I be concerned? Is it still okay to drive or can I damage the engine?

Sorry guys but I just don't like the idea of my engine warning light being on!

Cheers,

Batts

mine did it alot, after a while, it progressed to shaking, smoking, knocking, and just running like CRAP. dealer reflashed the ecm last thursday.

it did it with the quad standard, race, and stock. so I dont think it is quad related. hasnt done it since the flash.

Somewhere at some point you ran out of fuel pressure. That is fuel pressure on the low side. The 0148 will almost never cause the truck to run any different, but it will annoy you. The light will go out after a few starts unless the original issue persists.

Could be dirty fuel filter, weak lift pump, or who knows. I would not fret too much unless you can continuously get the error.

Usually it takes a pretty good load to get a stock truck to do it, but when you start demanding more fuel it can be more prevelant.

change that L/P before it gets costly. I put a BD lift pump kit on mine last weekend. it runs great with the quad race on full, before it would slowly fall on its face

P0148 Code with Quadzilla

I have gotten the dreaded P0148 Code twice now. I cleared it once and let it cycle itself out the second time. Does anyone think that I need a BD Lift pump Kit? 04.5 Dodge Ram 3500 Non Dually H.O. 610 with the Xzillaraider 130HP. Gary

you like the way it runs with the zilla on 130 now, just give that cp3 the fuel it needs and the fun really begins. mine used to begin to run out of steam about 2800 rpm after a sustained WOT blast, but not anymore. more power down low too since it always has fuel, just returns what it doesnt need.

i checked the return fuel line after the cp3 with both the stock lp and the BD after a few miles of driving, warm with the stocker and cold with the bd, definately getting the cooling/lube it needs now. any l/p kit is better that the factory setup.

P0148 code

My truck is at the Dealership now. I don't know what is wrong but the dreaded P0148 Code came up again and my truck is running like CRAP. It studders, and kicks it even stalled when I got to the dealership. I will probably will replace the Lift pump but I don't want to Void out my warranty. I think that I will go with the Mopar lift pump. Part number 5175539AA. I don't think that I want to cut open my fuel lines. Does anyone have any feedback on this. The dealership said that I wouldn't have to cut my fuel lines for the Mopar one. They told me its just plug and play.
