Just installed my Quad Standard box today. Installation was no problem and took less than and hour, plug and play was easy! However, not longer than 20 mins of driving it my CEL went on and is still on, I checked the code and it gave me a P0148. Im gonna have to call Quadzilla tomorrow and get this straightened out. Something about a 40k truck with a dummy light on doesnt make me too excited. I will say that the power on the 60 and 100 setting is fun and definately noticable. I had a lot of fun on the freeway on the 100 setting, ran like a sports car Not as much black smoke as I would have liked but i guess that a good thing right!

 

Po 148 is fuel delivery error.

 

The code cleared the day after and I just figured it was a glitch or something. However yesterday it went on again. Should I send this box back to Quad for an exchange? Or is this normal?

 

No check engine light is normal.I'd double check my connections.Make sure ALL is plugged in tight etc.Call Quad

 

mine cel came on with my race box so i took it off and drove it to my dealer, he said it was high fuel pressure code but it went off and cleared the code after 3 good runs

 

Mine throws the same code. I've been told by Quadzilla that this problem has been fixed.
Mine only occurs while using the cruise control on 100hp setting. And it sets the code when on a straight away and when it hits the bottom of a hill and bang the code sets. I was going to send mine back to have it reflashed to get this code fixed. Now you have me thinking it might not be fixed your module was an older one that wasn't updated with the fix. When did you get the module? I installed mine back in April.

 

I ordered mine Aug 31st so its definately a new one. I'm gonna call them today, ill keep you updated

 

I got the CEL with mine as well cruising @ 70mph in 100 hp setting. It went away after a couple of days and I haven't used that setting since. Guess I'll send mine back too.

 

Sent my box back to Quadzilla Power today. I'm getting upgraded to the 140 hp box, but they are going to trouble shoot my returned unit and let me know what they find.

 

I have had my box since april. I once got a code when i was on the 130hp setting with the cruise on and my rpms were over 2500 for an extended period of time. Emailed quad and he was aware that under my circumstances the CEL would come on. He said i could call them up and send it back for the flash but i couldnt live without my box for more than a day or two! Besides i dont usually cruise around on the higher setting. 100hp gives me no problems either.
Dont worry i bet its gonna be an easy fix.
