The tst with the built in gauges are nice to have. I have no experiance with quad's products. I love the tst and yes you have to be careful with it. I was never able to slip my clutch with the TST before I put 35's on. The TST is more than most people will use. I like it because it is timing and duration only and the adjustability of it. The TST will most likely empty you wallet though on upgrading. Just something to look out for.

Both boxes are great but if you ever plan on making big power, the TST will has more than enough for even the most modified trucks. I don't think there's anybody who can run the TST on 9/9! You just need to understand that it can make your truck make so much power that you may break things. If you understand this, and can keep it on the lower settings, then you will be fine.
The Quad box can also cause damage to inferior parts on the truck, mainly transmission. If you can run it on the lower settings you will be fine also. The Quad makes very nice power all through the range while the standard TST program is a little laggy on the bottom but is killer at the top end.....

Keep in mind, most of us thought we'd be happy with a simple box like the EZ or Quad tow box. Next thing you know, your signature looks like mine....

Adding a 70hp or less box is probably your best bet then. Then you can run it on high all the time without worrying. Any more than that and you will start wearing away at the transmission......
At that power level any of the boxes out there are good. You can get a great deal on a Quadzilla box by calling Lary at the DTR store. I ran a Quad Race box before I got my TST and it was great. I had some trans mods done though, so I wasn't worried about the higher settings..... The Bully Dog DownLoaders seem very popular too.. The list goes on and on.....
Check the classifieds here also. Lots of boxes for sale there...
