Who has originally used the TST powermax adjustable, and then sent it in to be re-progrmammed as a COMP?? What is the difference like? I am looking for more aggressive fueling EARLY on, before much bost as opposed to more total fuel once boost is up.

I had mine upgraded about a month ago. Big difference in power and smoke. My egts are higher on 6 than they used to be on 9. On 9 the smoke never clears up even at 40psi of boost with a PDR hx40. Off boost fueling and smoke are also much higher, it will be the best $50 you can spend. Tim

 

Now that sounds like what I want. For $50 bucks, how can you go wrong. Mine's coming out tomorrow and will be packaged up and on the road!!!

I have an old PM2 before they where smog leagal and I'm upgrading soon. The one thing I have noticed is the PM3 Comp is almost too much on the top 2 levels. I know that sounds dumb but the defueling shutter on the top 2 levels is freeky and can't be good on the injection pump. Right now I'm talking with TST and trying to get something in between the two boxes. : I want the hard hitting low end of the Comp and the managable top end of the regular PM3. :- I'm going to make a trip to their shop Monday and hopefully come home with something I like.
