I wouldn't replace your stock clutch unless you were having trouble with it, if you raise the HP then it would be worth the money.

any SBC is made of higher quality materials than the mass produced factory stuff.

i am running the con OFE. which is the lowest power holding, closest to stock clutch Peter makes. It is unbelievably strong for what it is rated for.
It drives just like stock, pedal pressure is just like stock. IT holds great. It is a great replacement for stock or close to it. I dont recommend seeing what it will hold, but it WILL hold way more than advertised. See sig...

The Con OFE is in the middle. The Con O is the lowest holding clutch..

It will definitely outlast a stock clutch, I just don't advocate spending money where you do not need it. Unless of course you just want bragging rights, and that's OK too

Once you have a problem with the stock clutch then by all means replace it with the best

what is Peter's name on here? I need to talk to him about my 3600DD. Does anyone know If they have a warranty or replacement policy? I have towed less than 10k a couple of times and taken it down the quarter mile 4 times. Other than that, I drive strictly for fuel economy. I have well below the power that it is rated for. I have had it about 3 months and it has started making the clicking and squeeling noises that are synonymous with clutch failure. It hasnt slipped on me yet, but since it started I havent really tested it.
Thanks for the help.

I believe it is best to contact him by phone. If he is not there, you can leave a message, he will get right back to you.
