installed SB DD3600

a great thanks to Peter's DD and once again to the service from sourceautomotive. ditched the FE for the DD only have about 200 miles on it and the diff is night and day. the herk and jerk of the FE is gone the peddle pressure feels like my old OFE. I can go in reverse without jumping and bucking now. cant wait to get it broke in and put the fuel to it. for anyone that is on the fence to go with a DD. I wish I would of done it long ago. the service at sourceautomotive didnt skip a beat even while they are moving there shop to a bigger and better location. thanks again peter for your product and thanks for putting it on my truck Robert at source.

Which clutch do you have? finger style pressure plate? I just installed the new sintered iron disc iron giant with 3850 pressure plate. I'm daily driving it & towing 18k# trailers & it is very smooth for a heavy plate dual disc. I can't wait to hook it to a sled, but I think I'll have to wait till next year to test that.

the 3600 I dont tow as often anymore, but my FE was almost 2 years old and I think the smarty was starting to win the battle. the 3600 is very streetable almost feels like a import cars clutch a couple times Ive almost stalled the truck because its a really smooth engagement. they do great shifting around 1300rpms.
