fuel pump question and boost question???

looking to get a new fuel pump soon whats the easiest to install or do you have to get in the tank with any fp install on my year was thinking about that jeep fuel cage idea i herd slight things on here about it has any body done that also and how did that work out for you??

also just gonna throw this out at you guys see if you can make anything out of it when i got my truck my stock boost was like 30-32 psi i put the edge juice in and with the hot was able to hit 45 psi max now i only have the smarty in and im lucky if i can hit 28 psi gauge will come up pass 25 hit about 28 and shoot back down to 25 and stay there my egts seem like they have not changed as if i would have with a boost leak.

if any of you guys can help me with either one of these i appriciate it.

Are you running the aftermarket turbo version of smarty software? If not, it limits boost to stock levels (30-32psi peak).....check the version loaded in smarty by plugging it into the truck and seeing what ver comes up when you turn the key on....compare to the website....if you're already running aftermarket turbo version...guessing a boost leak.

Use the search function, or just scroll a bit. There's TONS of options for fuel pumps different people have tried, I'm still trying to make a decision myself!

Yes.....just dont abuse it by continuously pegging 40+psi.....try to keep'r below 40 and you're good to go.

Try clamping off the hose going to the wastegate. I did this when my turbo was doing the same thing. Hitting 40psi with no problems
