Fleetguard Filters
Does anyone have a good source for Fleetguard filters? If so, I sure would appreciate a contact.
My local dealers are quoting from $52 to $80 for HF6604's & HF6607's.

Have you considered just going to your local Cummins store in Orlando? It looks like the main office of Southeasternpower is in Tampa, but they should have a local store in Orlando according to the website. I usually just go to my local Cummins Store and buy several Fuel Filters and Oil Filters at once, and they will last me a while. Very reasonable. Good luck.

Genos, is there an echo in here???
I prefer to pay $8.50 for my $17 dollar filters. (oil)
On the fuel, my dealer wanted $44.00 for the same part that I order at Genos for about $13.00.
Boy, Genos must be losing their shirt on every internet cusomer that orders?

Southeastern is one of the places I called. They have a shop here in Orlando that has done most of the aftermarket work on my truck. Unfortunately it appears the filters I want (HF6604's or HF6607's) for the FASS system are hydraulic filters and somewhat more expensive than the standard fuel filters.

I have searched around and gave up on cheap hf6604/07 fleetguard filters or equal. The only thing is the racor or cat 2 micron filter but presents a plumbing question with restrictions running the fass also.Anyway that's what they cost and try to remember they are superior synthetic filter media for high pressure hydraulic systems. The hf6604 should last a year or 25000 miles easy and make it part of your oil change routine to unscrew the fs1023 and run solvent thru it, gas work great as the internals are all stainless 144 micron mesh. This greatly extends the life of the hf6604. Yeah 60-70 bucks is pricey but 3 micron filtration is worth it to me.
Hey.. the latest is fleetguard just released a new stock filter that is rated at 7 microns, Part# FS1980000-E.
