External Wastegate Setups?

Okay looking to do an external wastegate setup on the old 12 valve. How does everyone suggest doing so, welding cast isnt a problem so drilling and welding to the manifold is an option. Others I have talked to say it is better to build a mount that bolts up inbetween the manifold and the turbo. Any pictures and suggestions are welcomed and incouraged, so let me have them. The turbos are a Hx35 with HT3B. Truck will also have plenty of fueling coming from a II dragon Fly pump and dragon fly injectors. What size wastegate do yall recomend i have been told a 38mm will do the job but i am brand new to the external wastegate game .

The hx35 is already wastegated, why not wastegate the bottom turbo for more tuning capabilities?

We have been working on this project for some time LOL. As soon as the motor gets finished in the machine shop, truck was bought knowing the pump and or injectors were bad so off to II they went when they came back truck was still having problems under further examination we noticed that it burned up #4 piston and cylinder pulled the head and that piston, then decided to pull the other 5 and check them out #6 had a oil ring broke and was in a bind and grinding away on the cylinder its probably .20-.30 over in one area unknowing to this until the other day we went to try and hone out what we didnt figure was too bad havent had time to mess with it. Got to honing and realized it was worse then what we thought so the motor is on its way out and to the machine shop to get bored and sleeved. Already have 6 standard sized pistons and in frame rebuild kit so boring it out more is out of the question. The twin kit I found on Competition diesel for sale and got them for 1150 for hot and cold piping both hx35 and Ht3b and ats manifold. Only needs new clamps and hoses and some type of external wastegate these were fabbed by joez and look great. External wastegate will make tuning them in a little easier so im told and thats what he had in mind when building them.

Here is a pic of the spacer you were referring to. I don't have a good picture with the wastegate installed.

Does anybody like source automotive make the spacer with wastegate bracket fabbed in. I'm sure it wouldnt be a big problem to fab up but when this thing goes back together I want it to all go back on at once and not have it down any longer then it has been trying to fab things up. If not what company makes good quality flanges.
