I like running the smarty on 9 or 7. If I do need one, what do you all suggest, Recon?

Thanx.

I modded my input banjo bolt on the cp3 intake and check psi periodicly with a test gauge. I don't care to have another perminant gauge for that. Craig

I was looking at the Recon as well. Don't want to threadjack here but since were on the subject. Do you need to replace the fuel filter canister lid to accept a bolt to read pressure?

If you also run a pressure box off the MAP sensor and a boost fooler how is the Recon going to read RP?

I use nylon tubing and Festo fittings and lay the gauge on the dash - I watch it while I drive. GDP sells tapped banjo bolts. Craig

If you're able, you can drill & tap the fuel filter housing lid for the LP guage.

Gotcha, thanx Schomer.

No thread jack Nate, good question. I am steering towards the Recon so I can see rail and pre-CP3 pressure. I actually can't think of another gauge besides the Recon. That probably has something to do with why I am considering it and not another brand. Hu hu hu.

Yea I was thinking about another gauge as well but nothing out there offers a reading for a rail or for the lift pump pressure. And not to mention I already have a 3 pod gauge on my A-Pillar, I would like to have something like the Recon to put where I want it.

XLR8R- There is no pre-tapped cannister lids? I thought I read on here somewhere about a guy installing one on his truck, I could be mistaken though.

Maybe someone w/ a Recon can chime in here. Where does the plug for the RP go? I'm already running a pressure box there and a boost fooler, i'll have to go look but I don't think there is any more plug ins avaliable.

Yes, you can buy pre-tapped cannister lids - but I did mine myself.
