I believe your edge will boost fool up tp 40psi, over that you will need a Boost fooler. Boost elbow is an adjustable elbow of the wastegate air line, allowing you to get more boost by adjusting the air into the gate, kinda tricking the gate into thinking it has a small leak, thus building more boost.

but you have a 2003, so it doesnt matter if its boost fooling or not, the manual wastegate opens and closes on its own. You should just get a bigger turbo, the stock turbo on a 03 is junk. Try and find a used one off of a 2004.5 and then change your manual wastegate over, along with that 20.00 ebay boost screw. you shouldnt spend much. Maybe 300.00

Man is correct. Zilla does the same thing on 03/04's. Will not send a code, but the only way you can FOOL the boost is by putting an elbow on it. 04.5 is a differant story. I have a NON adjustable "ELBOW" on mine. I hate the term "ELBOW" its a 90 deg fitting for C sake.........my .02

04.5 turbo swap on an 03 works great. I know people who picked up 40hp. Nice thing is the 04.5 turbo cools better and can handle 50hp inj too.

I have the Edge J/A on mine with a "boost elbow". The elbiow replaces the factory 90* fitting coming out of the turbo for the waste gate. The replacement elbow has a VERY small hole drilled in it vs the wide open fitting that comes stock. This delays the wastegate from opening and allows you to reach higher boost.

Without "Boost fooling" software the factory computer would throw an overboost code and possibly pull back fuel.

With my setup I hit about 32psi pulling a hill at WOT.

Did you buy your truck with the juice already on it? On the Edge for my '01 it came with a boost elbow in the box. Might want to check if your turbo already has one on it.

It will look like a brass 90* fitting.

How dependable is the boost gauge on the edge att. I get all kinds of different boost numbers. I can be going down the road at half throttle and be boosting 21-23 let off and stand it full throttle and wont boost over 18. It acts like its not boosting as hard but think that it might be just the gauge is wrong. Anybody have any ideas or is this normal. Was going to look for leaks but it shouldnt boost this high if i had a leak.

06 megacab, edge att, 5" magnaflow, leveling kit, 295/70-17 toyo mt
