Why should I have to front that bill in order for my truck to be reliable day in day out? I offered the dealer I would pay the difference of what it would cost to stick an aftermarket setup vs replacing it with stock gear, but they wouldn't go for it.
you are whining about the warranty for the torque converter but you contradict yourself by buying a ford with a lift and larger tires? can you say warranty gone on the ford before you even buy it?

Just thought I'd remind everyone that this is dodge site, hence the logo at the top of the page.
"Your Dodge Ram and Cummins Turbo Diesel Source"
We should be Brand loyal,
These engines go 1,000,000+ miles, and make big torque and good mpg.
To Defend the Cummins is only in our nature, since it is a legend.

I mean I bought my first cummins, which is the one i have now, with 355,000 miles. I can 100% say I would never by any vechicle in the world, with that many miles, UNLESS it was a Cummins. Fact. It is my daily driver / reliable transportation.

We buy trucks for the power plant.
I got a warning for this post, and after re-reading it decided it was confrontational and provocative.
I must have been very tired and a little cranky.
I apologize!
