J35 the most up to date?

I'm getting ready to delete and want to make sure I'm up to date. Just hauled about 12000lbs today for a good distance so I figure all my emission stuff is burned out clean. Have 19,000 miles on the truck. I have heard guys loose a turbo due to suiting up. I would hate loose my turbo right after I delete. Maybe just a bit nervous to give up my warranty. Thanks

J-35 was the latest TIB that Chrysler submitted to me, but I do not think I ever applied it to my truck. I sent the recall card back saying, I had the vehicle inspected and was fine.
I had already deleted and was using the Smarty ME67 with software 14ME at the time of the recall. I then updated to the 23ME version and from what I remember this included the J-35 update from Chrysler in the updated software. I have been using the 23ME update since Nov. 2010 with no issues. My truck is running great and when on the highway I average 18 MPG when not pulling the camper. I am now averaging around 13 MPG's with city driving.

just remember if you do deletes now and do not have j35 (which was a recall not a TSB) done and you take it to the dealer and they do it, your smarty won't work unless you have the latest download from smarty.

I have not been back to the dealer since Chrysler closed my local dodge dealer. Chrysler then sent a coupon to me for a local Chrysler dealer, for an oil change($134.00 oil change). They did not even know that they had to grease the front drive shaft.

I do have the j35 update. Just wanting to make sure I'm current. Did the j35 solve the suiting issue in the turbo? I've been good but want to be confident the turbo isn't going to fail after I delete due to emission related issues.

I pretty much did the same exact route and have the same situation. I have not been back after I had my local dealership do my first oil change for $59. I had to show them the front drive shaft fitting (8"x11" photo print out of the location) and it was an ordeal. They even scratched my door by banging on the lift... , and I had to then go to the body shop to reshoot the door .

I never got the J35 either... However, if I am forced to smog this year (which I'm pretty sure will come), I will bolt the junk back on, get the J35, pass the smog and then take it back off and go with my Smarty for the next 2 years - repeat...

suiting up the truck what color of suit is your truck wearing is it navy blue or black or maybe brown lol
anyway when i had the j35 done on my truck the tech said all it did was put more diesel into the system to burn hotter so the soot would burn out of the dpf better
