EGT temperature

I had a egt probe installed pre turbo on a 2009 Dodge 3500 ctd. We tow a fifth wheel trailer behind it and would like to know at what temperature I should get concerned as I can find no information in the manuels?

1350 is the upper limit you want to see at any time.

With my edge on 2 (tow setting) 36ft gooseneck and 125hp kubota i only saw hig 1000's low 1100's.

Depending on load and the DPF cleaning routine, you will see as high as 1400°F. Under load however it will be less. Now you will know when its going into DPF Regen as you will be towing along at about 8-900°F and then it will take off to 1400°F for up to 20 minutes.

Your right, forgot to take the emmisions equipment into consideration.

The numbers I stated are on the Chrysler UnApproved High Flow System.

That is correct. If it is post turbo instead or pre, the gauge will read lower temps.
