Frame

Frame, mostly, I think. Engine is detuned to 305 HP. Other than that, I think it's the same.

The chassis cab is the new bed delete pick-up. For several years Dodge has been out of the upfit market. Dodge has decided to return to the commercial truck market that has been dominated by Ford. The package has industry standard 34" flat frame rails, 52 gal. rear mount fuel tank and wiring and brake lines running on one side of the frame. Engine and trans. combos are available for all trucks, Cab chassis or reg. line unit.

Yes, sorry. I posted here and it didn't get many looks so I posted the other one because more people were looking at the other forum and I need an answer pretty quick since we are going to try to buy one here in a few minutes.
Thanks guys, I told dad you could help us out. LCH

If these new cab & chassis are any indication of what’s to come in the Dodge 4500 and 5500 classes, you can stick a fork in Ford right now! They’re done!
I’ve had my new cab & chassis for a week now; it’s so far superior to my X-F-550 it is embarrassing! I’m still kicking myself in the Edit for ever buying that F-550 , don’t even what to think what it has cost me to make the change, but every time I drive my new cab & chassis the sting seems less n less

Don't forget much heavier rear suspension! As well as what the others have said, 34" wide completely flat C-Chanel 50,000 psi yield strength frame rails, 52 gallon aft axle fuel tank with fuel filler neck through the frame rail for easier upfit, 60" or 84" cab to axle configurations, all in all, a much heavier truck.
