the paint on the undercarriage of the new trucks is holding up much better than in previous years? My 03 and 07 started rusting almost immediately on the axles but my 08 still looks like new except at the hubs on the ends. It looks much better.....

i never got a plaque. usps must have lost it. you lucky guy. i have a nice spot picked out for it in my workshop....... but no plaque.

BUT I GOTTA PIC IN A MAGAZINE... even though its a small one.

Forest City Diesel used to supply the plaques each month but they stopped a while back since times are tight. If you would like, I can take a picture of mine and you can super-impose your month/year on it and then hang a picture of it in your workshop....

but, back on topic since i highjacked it.

my frame and underbody hasnt rusted a bit, but the trans and axles sure turned a pretty orange fairly quickly. i wonder what they changed?

 

It's usually the pumpkins that turn brown and look really bad. I bet they finally just put some better paint on them.
And I will take a pic of my plaque so you can truly feel like you have won the TOTM.......
