what do you think

i was driving back from about a thousand mile trip this weekend, and towards the end, my truck started mis firing a couple times every thirty miles or so. i was told by a diesel tech shop today that it might be injectors. it seems to me that an injector would be a constant problem though. any ideas

try running some PS through it and pull something heavy if you can! injector problems can be intermittent. how many miles on your fuel filter?

PS is Power Service. Diesel Kleen is a good cleaner.
Also, you may want to go back to stock to see if it's one of the performance boxes causing the issue.

My injector showed it bad side at idle and was unnoticeable at higher RPM, but it did get worse - higher and higher eng. speed before disapering. What you are discribing sounds more like sucking some water through - fuel supply related. How much water are you getting throug the filter. If your arre iding smoth I would not think injector right off?

Are you seeing signs of watter from filter. Do a drain on your filter and catch in clear glass or plastic and see howmuch water you are getting. If you see some water I would change filter and drive see if prolem continues.

If not I would drive and see what happens and check water agine.

If you mix PS and Marvel Mystery oil together, makes mine run smooth as silk...I have tried them all and that is the best
