Wink So...Uh...fuel filter, just toss it down the storm drain, right?

What do you do with yours?

Seriously, do oil recycling centers take them? What about the dirty diesel fuel that you have to drain from the filter? Add it to your oil recycling jug?

Mine finds it's way into the stove in our shop. As far as the old diesel, save it for starting backyard campfires.

Let the filter drain for 24 hours and chuck it in the trash can. You can put the diesel fuel in with used oil.

Most recycle centers in California take your filters also.

The diesel drains on the gravel outside my shop and the filter drains then goes into my incinerator. Just doing my part to warm up the world. I am sick of this below zero stuff we have been having.

I drain the filter and toss it. The fuel goes back in the tank. If there is any water, it settles to the bottom after 24 hrs, so it's just fuel going in.

Send some of that my way. It's -19 F as I type this. All of the global warming nutcases need to come here and see about it.

filter in the trash, diesel on my neighbors unkept bushes (not too many of them left, they seem to keep dying)

Everyone keeps saying "dispose of properly"..Well if they provided a place to properly dispose of filters and such, I would use it. Checker and Ghettozone take used oil, but not filters?
