Me thinks the tranny is probably the problem. Further discussions have yielded the same conclusions with some other mechanics, both GM and Dodge. It seems this is a complaint on the other guys trucks also. It is not all that bad, but I everything else is so quiet it is too bad this has to be. Anyway, I told the dealer to quit worrying about it and just keep it on the back burner perchance something surfaces at a later date. They have my complaint logged.

my truck does the same thing you guys are talking about
and yes it is a bit annoying
but
you know if you had a 2nd gen truck you probably couldnt hear the rattle because of the other rattle

 

And I don't hear any slushbox owners chiming in here either.

I like the rattle.
