Hello everyone, My 92 W250 is surging at low RPM and has sluggish low end accelleration and just feels weak at low RPM. Once it gets up there in RPM to say 1400 or 1500 it takes off like normal. Am I in the market for new governor springs or a whole new injection pump? I need to get this fixed ASAP! Thanks,

if you have more black smoke than usally, then you probly have a boost hose or intercooler leak.also, check the turbo for shaft play.

 

Ryan, there's no excess smoke whatsoever, it's clean as always... I'll check the turbo though, thanks.

 

anothere thing, spray some soapy water on the hose from your intake to the afc housing.

 

I would say you should post this in the first gen forum, you'll get a bunch of answers/suggestions real quick.

I can't say mine has ever surged except when I needed to change my fuel filter. But it did not run right even at higher RPM's
