Ideal fuel pressure for a common rail

I installed a dual fuel system with an extra tank in the bed. I wanted to keep them seperate and installed a FASS HPHF pump. I travel a lot and prefer to have a redundant system to lessen the likelyhood of being stranded The pump was pushing over 30 psi and got it regulated down to 16 psi.

My question is, what type of psi should it average for the CP03 IP? In my old 24 valve it was common to keep it in the 16-20 psi range and thus did the same for this truck (2005 5.9). Is there a standard psi reccomendation as my stock LP is only producing 6 psi.
Thanks

My stock lp is pushing 8-10 and does not vary at wot. I think ideally it should be about double that pressure. Unless you are running some big mods and need more pressure, that would probably be just about right.

I got an AirDog-150 for my truck, it is supposed to be in that 16-20 range.

That's what I was wondering.........might be time to replace the stock LP. I guess it is old habit since I did a few on the 24v before going with FASS.

You can never hurt with better filtration.

I would look at a two micron stand alone filter and a small pusher pump instead. Just an option.

Something like this:
