clutch goes "click"

...when I start to press it in. Started tonight. Does it most of the time now. Very annoying. I don't think that it is anything to worry about, but I want it to stop. It has 3400 miles on it now. Has anyone had this happen and what do you have to do to fix it? Thanks.

Sounds like the click is coming from the clutch interlock switch. Mine does it also and lubing the clutch shaft with silcone grease seems to help, or I just got use to it.

same here, some spray lube up under the dash on the linkage/switch helped me out

Thanks. Some lube on the switch took care of it. Now I have that darn shift problem that is more noticeable. I think that there will be a used BD short shift kit for sale very soon if anyone is interested.

What's wrong with the BD shifter? With only 3400 miles on the truck the tranny is still very tight. Mine didn't loosen up till about 10k miles.

I don't know for a fact that anything is wrong with the shifter. I do like the shorter throws, but the tranny shifting is getting worse, not better. I don't think that they would void my warranty b/c I have it, but I don't really want to take the chance either. It has been on the truck for the last 3k miles -- very little driving before install.

BTW, I LOVE the paint on the cobra in your gallery. I wish Dodge made a truck that color.

Mine did the same thing when it was new, and it has gone away.
