My 94 hasn't always been cranking to life like it usually does. I checked both batteries with a load tester. The cable ends are all new. I re-built the starter about six or seven years ago.
I feel fairly confident that my starter is going bad but I wanted to run it by some other owners?
Also, what's the best deal for new starters now?
When I had mine rebuilt a new one was like $400. I had mine done for something like $180.
Thanks in advance.

Your starter contacts are shot. They are like a dollar a piece, and there are 2 of them. They arent bad at all to replace. This is a very common problem. Do a search for Larry B. he makes a havy duty contact and plunger kit for like $50?
