replacing front suspension

started replacing all of my front end parts yesterday, i'm here to tell you, them 13 year old ball joints ain't no joke, the wife says why don't you pay someone to do it, it just would'nt be the same, at least i won't have to do it again for a long time!

Yeah, what Johnh says? I did my independent 2wd. Not hard for a 20 year old to do. Problem is, I passed that 45 years ago. The lowers can be a pain but can be done with some ingenuity.

That and I think Dodge put their electrical system engineers in charge of designing the front suspension for the Cummins weight.
Mine started rattling at about 55k.

mine is a 2wd, forgot to put it on my signature, mine don't press in, they are riveted, 4 bottom and 3 on the top,an there the size of my little finger, and i didn't take the control arms off, it look like someone changed out the control arm bushings and one upper ball joint, go figure, well i had the alignment done today, and it was bad off, i had set the new pieces to the old ones, so i guess it was off before i changed everything, just glad it's over, you don't do old people like that hehe
