Your welcome 2003slt although I'm no "Professional Expert" on even my truck. I hope you can get it off without doing any damage to the OEM so that you will have something left to glue back to. I agree about the "otherwise excellent truck" My 99 3500 has been good to me so I am very satisfied with it. I have had to replace the lift pump, injector pump and rebuild the front coil spring suspension all to the tune of about 5 grand but heck, for a fifteen year old truck, who's complaining? Take care and thank you again for the "thank you". Happy Rattling!"

    Thank you Humblecowboy!
Its always a benefit to discuss the nature of a new trail with those who have gone down it before! My hope is that the dash skin was applied using silicone as the adhesive. With a little prying starting at the outside edges and slicing of the glue as I progress across the dash I just might be able to salvage it. If a building or construction adhesive was used I think the skin is going to come off in chunks. Either way I need to have heat where and when its needed on this otherwise excellent truck. Thanks again also to all the others who added input over the years.
