If you can seem to figure out the rear tabs on it, you can pull down the foam padding on the top of the sunglasses compartment to expose the rear tabs. It's adhesive-backed and will go back up when you're done. I had to do this to get the tabs back in the holes when putting the console back up. I've done it so many times now though that I'm good at it.

Toggle switches
Both of my overhead map light switches are broken. I was planning to just replace the switches with a couple of toggle switches.
I see 3 wires in each existing switch, but a single pole single throw switch has 2 terminals.
Does anyone have a schematic of the wiring harness in the console? I'd like to see what kind of switch I will need and how to connect it.

Thanks! I was thinking last night after I posted that the second circuit was the door light. So what is needed is a SPDT toggle switch (single pole dual throw) ... On - On
