A Newbie saying hello
It looks like this is the place to say hello.
I bought my first diesel vehicle in 1998 with the purchase of my Dodge 2500 24 valve. Through the years I have relied on using the computer to gain knowledge of this truck and how it works. Back in 1998 there were no forums like this one, only email lists. After joining other forums, I have decided DTR is the best choice today. Here I find a wealth of knowledge and opinions about my favorite vehicle, and good technical discussions.
I hope to contribute to the forums and ask an occasional question. Being a sports car nut in my youth and an electrical engineer, taking things apart and discovering how they work is a passion. Through the years I have accumulated a good “nuts and bolts” understanding of my truck and have many Dodge and Cummins manuals with technical info on the ISB engine and drive train. Electrical problems and modifications are second nature to me so hope to help where I can.

Thanks for the welcome. After lurking for many years I thought it was time to step up to the plate and join. This is one of the few forums that do not hide sections from non-members. Free exchange of info is what the Internet is all about.
Hope my signature is working now.
