Fresh off the Chevy webpage...Not that I'm a fan of GM.

LT stands for Luxury Touring.

The ones you listed were all engine codes that I recognize... Coulda sworn I read somewhere that it was something representing the body trim, and had a meaning... oh well...

Does it get under anyone else's skin when a Chebby 1/2 ton that has that cheezeball "Z71" package is referred to as a "Z71 truck?" IIRC, when one of the rags tested it, the towing package did better offroad than that truck with the "off road" package...

Oh well, at least DC now has a real off-road pickup, unlike Ferd or the General. It's a sad state of affairs when people pay EXTRA for Rancho shocks as part of a package because they are an upgrade from OEM..
