fuel leak at filter

fuel leak at filter

have a fuel leak at the 2 wires on the top of the fuel filter. can this be changed or need a new top?

You might check to be sure you don't have 2 sealing rings in the top instead of the required single ring.

Mine looks like there's 2 torx screws holding mine on. Is there any holding yours on that could be maybe tightened up?

After looking for the leak on my truck I too believe mine is leaking there, i just installed a walbro about 2 wks. ago and now it leaks, any fixes, mine has no screws holding it in

3 screws under top. took mine off, removed screws and heater pushes out. small seal ring around black piece. looked ok but can't change, never get seal over plug. cleaned and used gray rtv silicon. waiting 2 cure. will update tommorrow.

had to bleed injectors. truck started up no leaks. hope this takes care of it.

I have the same leak around the fuel heater. Is this causing the vp to loose prime overnight?
