crossover tubes stuck.

I have an 01 dodge and I believe that someone put the wrong O-rings on the crossover tubes for the injectors and now they are stuck in the head so tight i cant pry them out with a screwdriver. I noticed that the tubes seem to have real fine threads cut into the tops of them and my question is, is their a special tool i can by to thread onto them and pull them out?

I have been doing some research and yes they are threads, snap-on makes a puller part # cj-144 I oredred it, I just hope i didnt booger the threads up to much trying to pry them out with a screw driver.

I could be wrong on this, but try a 9/16" X 14 fine thread nut, such as a wheel nut, for the conical end, gives more clearance, should thread right on, and use that to get a grip on, perhaps with vice grips, then a pry bar against the grips to pop the tubes loose.

They should be a standard thread, if I recall correctly

use two screwdrivers on oposite sides. if screwdrivers won't remove the puller won't either.

agreed,
I broke a screwdriver on one once, but with one on each side it came right out, it was rusted and pitted fairly deep, so I blamed the build up as to why it would not come out
