Cold starter = click, click, click

Happens usually in the morning. Turn the key and click. Try again, click. Sometimes it engages on the second try, sometimes on the 20th time. Everything is tight on the starter. Likely the solenoid going out? Can they be replaced separately from the starter?

A set of contacts are much cheaper than a new starter and 9 outta 10 times is contacts that are at fault

I put mine off for a few weeks and ended up ruining the starter. I would do it as soon as the kit arrives to save you some $.
