Re:Black smoke at start-up

All three of mine did or do it. From what I understand about it, the governor goes to a full fuel position once you shut the engine down. When you start it up, it takes a second or two for the governor to catch up and bring it from full fuel back to idle speed and that is where the black puff comes from. You should see the looks I get when I start mine and the two puffs come out the stacks. Coooooool.....<br>Not sure the new 03's do it with the new injection system.

when i turn my chip on with them injectors mannn i cant see behind me. Just one solid wall of black smoke. Its so fun to pull up to ricers at stop lights with their window down!! jsut fill their little cars full. But i want more smoke without more fuel mods.... i was thinking automatic transmission fuel but if i got stopped and they tested to see if i was running off road diesel they would think my fuel was pink because the atf would dye it that color. My uncle got cought and i think they gave him a ticket of at least 750 bucks. Maybe more... its been a while ago.
