2nd vp going down? whats a p0122 code?

Coming home from church this morning, got a check engine light, truck would not idle below 1200 rpms, then all of the sudden I had a dead peddle, and would not rev above 800 rpms. Glad church is only a few miles from home, would of been a long trip @ 25 mph ( thats idle in six'th gear speed ). Parked, waited about an hour, then peddle was dead for a sec ( no response at all ) then started reving, played with it a sec and ok now.
I pulled the codes, one is a p0122, this is not listed in fault codes, and the other is p1693, which I believe is a companion fault code. Can anyone help with these codes?

FP @ 15 idle & @12 to 13 WOT

Does anyone know it the Vulcan lift pump relocation will void warrenty? just put this on about a month ago with guage kit. Had lost a transfer pump and NOT known it untill changed the filter.

thanks, DuaneW

P0122- Throttle Position Sensor Voltage Too Low

Try resetting your APPS (it's in the tech facts at the top of the page) and see if that helps. If that doesn't work then it's probably shot and you need a new one.

1693 is a companion code and bigblue already pointed you in the right direction for the 0122

Thanks, I'll try that right now, wont know till tomorrow when I have a 50 mile round trip to work. Not to be argumentative, but I thought that a p2122 was a low voltage on apps sensor (pedal position sensor), the p0122 is not listed unless the 2 is assumed? Thanks for the help and I'll try the apps reset proceedure.

Its still the factory pump so you shouldn't have any problems there.
